Welcome to the Build Aid service information page. We are the premier providers of accurate bills of materials and labour in the domestic building market in South Africa. Our goal is to provide you the very best in accurate information during the design- and tender phase of the project.

How often have you heard the expression: NEVER AGAIN” when people talk about building their own home? We assist in providing you with detailed information that can take a lot of the risk out of building a new home or doing alterations to existing ones.

We have developed our own software with a digitised computing system that allows us to provide our services at a highly competitive rate. Our staff are experienced in compiling detailed estimates of cost and highlighting all the costs encountered during the design and construction of dwelling units. Our goal is always to deliver exceptional service. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance.

Our clients include builders, property developers, prospective- and existing home owners. We specialise in new domestic dwellings and alteration work to existing housing units.

SERVICE A - DETAILED ESTIMATES
Detailed estimates of cost based on sketch designs.

SERVICE B - BILLS OF LABOUR & MATERIAL
Detailed bills are drawn up for the various elements of the building. The document can be used as a basis for negotiations with selected builders or calling of tenders.

SERVICE C - COST ADVICE
Estimates and bills of labour and material are priced at current rates and we assist the client in deciding on alternative design and building solutions.

SERVICE D - ADD-ON TO OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS
We provide a seamless add-on service to architects and designers allowing them to extend their service and offer their clients a complete package comprising working drawings, estimates and bills of labour and material costs.

We will provide you with a true and accurate picture of all the costs involved, up front - right to the last detail. Bring us a copy of the plans of your new home or alteration, and we will accurately measure and provide you with a comprehensive and detailed cost estimate report, including all quantities and prices as well as labour costs relating to the particular project.

Raising finance at a financial institution
Obtaining a price from a builder for the work
Ordering correct quantities of materials
